Bio

While attending University of Toronto, I created and taught the Recreational Jazz Dance Program at Hart House.  For many years during and after university, I worked both locally and internationally as a professional jazz dancer and choreographer.

As part of the Canadian Forces Entertainment Troop, I was able to visit Canadian Military Bases in places such as Inuvik and Yellowknife, as well as CFS Alert on Ellesmere Island- the northernmost permanently inhabited place in the world!  It wasn't all dark and cold though!  On the other half of the tour we entertained Canadian Forces stationed in The Golan Heights, Cyprus, and several other European bases.

Prior to entering real estate, I completed the Canadian Securities Course and worked for several years as a broker in the securities industry.

In my spare time, I like to be active and outdoors whenever possible. In the past, much time in the summer was spent sailing (a large catamaran).  Now boatless - I’m more likely to be biking, hiking, playing tennis or gardening.

Recently, I've been fortunate to be able to spend some time each year in Costa Rica, in a lovely spot called Playa Hermosa ("Beautiful Beach" in Spanish).  The people are warm and friendly - much like the climate - and the scenery and wildlike are stunning.

I"ve gained some local knowledge (as well as a little Spanish) and have come to know many of the residents, both Costa Rican and Expat.  So if you’re thinking of visiting Costa Rica -or perhaps even buying a vacation home in Paradise - give me a call. I can give you some travel tips, or put you in touch with the local Re/Max Agents if you like.

Pura Vida!
